Hi,

There is a known problem with Snow Leopard firewall that blocks Air Video Server even if the application is set to "Allow all incoming connections". This is a bug in Snow Leopard firewall and there is no known bulletproof workaround at this moment. Hopefully this will get resolved once we get the codesign certificate from a trusted authority and sign the server binary.

Are there any other issues in Snow Leopard that we are not aware of?

Problem with Snow Leopard firewall should be fixed in Air Video Server 2.1.7.

I've just downloaded server 2.1.7 for Mac and it works over Wifi and the internet. Outstanding piece of software.

I'm not sure what this is about, but I find that since I upgraded (to the 2.1.8 beta) I can't get any file to finish conversion. I've experimented with different quality settings, but the result is the same: the file hangs, and the hung file can't even be deleted from the queue (from the server or from the client side). I have to delete the conversion log in the application support folder for Airvideo to get rid of it. Can anyone advise/help????
