Hi, I'm getting a severe problem with audio out of sync with video. It seems the audio is "slower" and a "lower pitch". It can be out of sync by 5 seconds within the first 30 seconds.
The setup: MacBoo Pro on the server side, AirVideo 2.2.7u1. Using iPad on the client side. Live play, though the same thing happens after conversion. I download the NBC Nightly News podcast on the Mac and watch it on the iPad. I've tried multiple podcast videos and they all do the same. How to fix?
It's possible that there will always be an issue here. I have converted wtv files to mp4 with a number of products and played them on various windows machines in various players, and air-video streamed to my ipad. The audio is out of sync on all apple devices and in Quicktime player, but is in sync on all windows players (wtv, media plater etc.).
My solution is to use mcebuddy, and because it can take the wtv files to two formats in two different directories I'm converting to mp4 in one directory, and mp4 with an audio time shift in a second directory. I've not cracked this yet but think if I persevere with the delay I should get there. If I do then I'll post the mcebuddy conf file settings for the iPad.
