I'd like to see the option to have a subfolder designated for converted vids, so it doesn't muck up the main directory of files. For example:

c:\video\video1.mkv

Currently if converted, then you have:
c:\video\video1.mkv
c:\video\video1-airvideo.m4v (or whatever)

Obviously with a lot of files, like I have 20+ in one dir, this gets messy for viewing from other devices, like my HTPC/Popcorn hour.

So, I'd like to see either a setting like:

a) Have a toggle to put all converted folders in a subfolder like .\airvideo\ . Then when you parse directory listings, just diff the converted folder against the parent folder and show the proper versions of each.

or

b) have a setting for a global folder to redirect converted files to, and then always make it available as a top level choice under the server, like a virtual Converted Videos folder. Or, I guess technically you could do option A but still have a virtual folder like option B. Would require directory crawling tho so maybe not.

Anyway, good luck and glad to test

This is not a bad idea. It's significant change though. Given the other features on our roadmap this one will have to wait a bit.
