We have an MPEG4 TS stream multicast live video being sent over the network, is there a way to get Air Video to play it?
Thx,

There isn't. Air Video only works with video files.

An IP multicast flow is not much different than a file... is there an SDK or other method for allowing the server to "open" a stream..? I could have the stream captured in a file then have the air server open the file..

With my air video mod pack it is possible to stream multicast streams.

The mod pack allows playing everything VLC can play on windows, mac or linux. That means with my mod you can play multicast streams, live tv from set top boxes and receivers, IPTV, DVDs, internet streams and some file formats which are otherwise not supported by ffmpeg.

My mod exists since january and is published here. The VLC extension to the original live tv mod will be published there in the weekend.
