In an effort to make my videos available on all clients, I ended up switching to Plex Media Server.

Has a great interface.

The playback quality is superb, but navigating through a video is terrible. IF there's ever a playback error, you have to fast-forward back through the video and anything faster than 4x crashes playback.

Does Emit have those same issues, or can you navigate through a video file relatively easily? Wish there was a Windows desktop version of the player! (I see there's a web player, is that any good?_

Hi,

on Android try Qloud. You can have Qloud and AirVideo server on same machine. AirVideo for iOS and Windows (with client) and Qloud for Android and Windows Phone.

QLoud works fine for me on my Note 2. I can't see Air Video for Android offering more than QLoud, even if it eventually became available. I will, however, continue to use Air Video on my iphones and ipads, as it is the best app out there for i devices.
