Please send the log to support (at) inmethod.com, don't post it here. Also you can copy the log, you don't need to send it as screenshot.

Using Belkin N+ router
I have port forwarded my device manually since UPnP did not work (was not detected...)
I did read about the Double NAT issue so i did put my router under DMZ (did not have ooptions for PPPoE because i'm on comcast..which also doesnt have an option for configuring ports forward...)
I also tried connecting via my DynDNS name (timed out connection) and by server Pin (also timed out)

It does work on my local network.

Hi,

if you have emailed the logs and got no response it probably means I didn't get the message. Can you please resend it?

I have been using Air video via my home internet for the last 15 monts and even switiching from windows to Mac- it's worked ok.

I've tried to set up a remote server from my office pc ( windows 7) with Cisco router and 10mb BEE internet line. And want to use it with my ipad. I have set up a password on airvideo, amd have ticked the "enable access from interent" box but 1 question..

When I get home, how on earth (out of thousand of air video servers) will my ipad find the right one?

TIA

Wayno

Usually using Server PIN. However on some networks you might need to setup port forwarding on the router. Also keep in mind that some networks can be restricted and not allow Air Video at all.

Please restart Air Video Server and send the updated remote support log to support (at) inmethod.com . Don't post it here.

Hi,

I'm trying to configure Airvideo to work on my Ipad connecting to my Imac as a server. I don't have problems when connecting via wifi in my local network, but I'm unable to connect from my 3G or from other wifi networks.

I've already opened the required port and don't know what else to do.

The message I get is:

URL Resolver Error
Error occured while trying to resolver the server adress.

Can anybody help me?

You need to use Server PIN to connect over internet. If you have still issues even with Sever PIN please read this post for the list of things I'd need to be able to help you trobuleshoot the problem.

I think it's solved!

I thought AirVideo was using the pin provided for the server, but indeed it was not. When I removed the server and added it again with pin, it worked.

Thanks for the help!!!

Ok, so it says connection test failed and then it says connection not available from the internet.

I tried manually configuring my router but to no avail. Any advice. I did some reading in the thread, but there wasn't a search function and its like 12 pages....here are the screenshots.
