Hi,

can you please send the remote support log to support (at) inmethod.com (don't post it here). I'd also need to see screenshot of router status page.

Yes I did, you said: do you have any 3rd party firewall or other security software (Little Snitch, Internet Security Barrier, etc) installed?

and I replied: Yes, I do have little snitch installed.

Hi, I have the same problem.
Air Video was working with remote access before but has stopped working in the last week.
Can still connect over local network though.
I have tried re-booting PC, router but problem still exist.
When I click "Test Connection", there is a message saying that Air Video doesn't work for remote access.
I have checked the following:
- my router Netgear WNDR 3700 does support UPnP
- I have fixed my PC to a static IP address
- I have check the router and confirm that port forwarding exist and forward 45631 to my PC IP address

Please help
Many thanks in advance

Thanks admin, it works again now.
For those who may be interested, my problems are probably due to there are too many UPnP devices connected top the router, most of these are old and no longer use and the router did not clear the cache.

To solve the problems, I did:

- turn off the router and wait for 5 mins before turn on again
- manually add in UPnP for Air Video as instruction

Problem solved!

Hi,

if you unchecked "Automatic port mapping" you will need to forward TCP port 45631 on your router.

When your computer is in hibernate mode it can't respond to any requests.

So same as everyone else can't seem to get remote access to work. Works fine on my internal network though.

Airport Extreme base station working in bridge mode with a AT&T U-verse residential gateway suppling the public IP.
I've forwarded the ports that needs to be available, but for whatever reason Uverse does not like to open that port what so ever on their residential gateways. When I do a port scan over at GRC with SheildsUp, it shows it as being stealthed. I can open any other port and it will show as open, but 45631 will not. I have the logs if needed.

Thanks
