I have a Belkin N+ Model F5d8235-4 V1

It will not work remotely and I just dont have the time to try to get it working properly.

Can anyone recommend some newer routers that work out the box, like my old G router did?

Or if anyone has this router can you tell me what you did to get it to work? Id appreciate it greatly!

Hi. The only thing you have to do is to "port forward" 45631 to your AirVideoServer. Make sure that the AVS doesn't block that port number, i.e. a firewall.

Good luck!

I'm sorry, but I don't own that particular router myself... You should look in your manual on how to 'port forward'. That's the best advice I can give you right now.
