Admin,

I have converted several videos using Air Video. When I view the videos in iTunes they are shown double size? The first half of the video is the full video with sound. The second half of the video is the full video without sound. Can you explain why this is happening?

Hi,

i wasn't able to reproduce it so far. What operating system do you have? Does it happen with all your videos? Also, if you play it in air video (just streaming, no live conversion) or synchronize the video with iPhone, is the length normal? It could be a bug in iTunes (or QuickTime 9) demuxer.

Hello,

This issue happens with all the videos I convert using Air Video. My operating system is Windows XP Home, SP3. I am running iTunes 9.0.1.8.

For example, if I convert a 1 hour video the video length in iTunes will be displayed as 2 hours and will also play for 2 hours. As I mentioned prior, the first half of the video will be the whole video with sound. The second half of the video with be the whole video without sound.

If I play the same video using a player such as the KMPlayer, the video plays correctly.

Also, the video plays back fine when using Air Video (without Live Conversion) and the video size (in MB) is shown correctly.

It might be a bug in QuickTime for windows demuxer. We will look into it.

Try opening the file in QuickTime player on Mac or in VLC. You should see that the file has normal size.

I have the same issue using Vista.

Except, it shows as "double length" in iTunes (i.e. a 60 minute video shows as 120 minutes in the tag). However, the file plays normally for the appropriate length of time and the file size is also appropriate.

I commend you on this app! It was exactly what I was looking for and I will leave you a glowing review on iTunes.

Admin,

Just wondering if you were able to figure out this issue?

Also, I realize now that this topic should have been posted on the "Air Video Problems and Solutions" section of your Forum... sorry.

Thank you.
