Hi,

First off amazing product. I have about a terabyte of TV shows in .avi format and they all work flawlessly over both 3G and Wifi. A minor suggestion that would make my life a little easier:

Store the settings separately for 3G and WiFi live conversion bitrates. For example, when I'm on WiFi, I can use up to 512kbit/s without constant buffering, so I only have that checkmarked under "Global Settings", whereas when I get on 3G I have to uncheck the 512kbit/s and check 256kbit/s for smooth playback. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to have this feature.

Also a quick question... when I'm on someone else's WiFi, will I still be able to access my videos through the same server that I use on my home network, or will I be forced to use the one with the PIN that I use over 3g? If so, does this mean I will have to use my 256kbit/s live conversion bitrate instead of the 512, as outlined above?

Thanks
Admin

Hi,

next Air Video update (already submitted to review) will have separate bitrates for Local network, Remote WiFi and 3G. On remote WiFi you will need to use Server PIN (since the server is not on your local network)

I'm impressed.
