I'm pleased to announce that new Air Video Server version is available.

You can download it for Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows.

Changes since last stable release
- Fixed framerate issues (caused jerky playback and conversion for some files)
- Better iTunes playlist sort order
- Improved listing of large network folders
- Improved playback over 3G
- Longer timeout for thumbnail generation

Really pleased to see the feature I've most wanted in Air Video: the ability to modify the file order. Thanks!

Does this have the option to install as a service for those of us who are running on a Windows Home Server?

Are you sure? What is the virus name? What does the message say exactly?

WS.Reputation1 is not a virus. It's just a way for the antivirus to prevent running unknown (even though often harmless) files

I got the same message and shut down anti-virus during the download and install process. I think removing from quarantine is the better way to do it.

It might happen because the file is very new (so the antivirus doesn't recognize it yet).

Ok that's the 3rd update in about a month, that's enough now. everytime I have to reinstall the mobile app and the server app. I think that's stupid to have so many updates so close from one another.

The update is a bugfix update. So if Air Video Server 2.4.2 works for you well and we release 2.4.3 you don't need to update it (the client won'tt request update)
