Here are 19 crashes from 2.4.5b7.

edit: could you add a high quality conversion option? When watching bluray episodes i have to switch over to use the ps3 because of the quality loss.

seriously, is any development work being done on Air Video? The latest beta release came out almost 6 months ago! I love AV but the development cycle seems very slow, if not stalled completely. I've heard the devs tease Air Video 3, but we have gotten no info on what this release entails or even when it may be released? a month? 2 months? a year?

We're working on it full time. I don't really want to give estimation as they have all been wrong so far.

can we havew updates as to what new features we can expect?

Mainly will it support streaming from enigma type boxes like dreambox?

Thanks

I'm on the plex forums very often, and the plex devs are very open to discussing what theyre working on and give updates much more frequently (every couple weeks)

The benefit to being so open with the community is that they get feedback while developing, which has helped guide some of their product roll-outs. Community members have even helped in the coding / programming / identifying of specific issues.

My point is, being super secretive may not be the best approach.

Given the amount of time since the last update, I honestly wouldn't hold my breath for a new release... I'm not saying never, but let's not kid ourselves... It's been almost 1.5 years now.

I hope the author sees that the community has been very patient, it's reached a point where too much longer of a wait, or a miss-step in the 'handling' of the next release will result in people not coming back.

(personal feeling/rant: After 1.5 years, I assume that the code is in good enough shape to post an executable for... At least in 'beta' form... It's not like the current version is 'non-beta').

Guys, we have reached our devices limit. Any new beta testing registrations are currently on hold.

SInce I updated to the 2.4.5-beta server, my attempts to convert wmv files crashes and locks up my PC. I had no problems with my previous version (227 u1) but the updated Airvideo app (IPAD/IPHONE) will not work with the older server. Is there a way to get the older app that did work with 227? Content of the log follows and screen shots attached. PC is XP Home sp3.

I am posting two logfiles. One beta 7 with a live conversion that does not work correctly, and one where it works perfectly with beta 5
