There are quite a bit of meta data providers out there now to assist us in managing our media and I believe they are all fairly similar in the way they handle building the XML file. I did find another thread about using the folder.jpg and backdrop.jpg that they use (mostly for mediabrowser/xmbc i presume), but I think that feature is more or less useless for air video. I'm more focused on meta data.
It would be nice if air video could read the XML files if they are available and provide synopsis, air date (TV), other basic information contained in those XML files. This would mean that air video would have to know if a folder contains movies or TV shows (location of metadata relative to the video file depends on that info), but that should be an easy setup to tell the server program what is what?
