Playing videos with foreign characters in the file name

I noticed that videos with Japanese and Korean characters in the file name (in fact any foreign characters) are displayed as invalid with no video stream found in file. Yet, if they are encoded in MP4, they will still play. If they are not and require conversion, they will not play. Is there a way to get around this problem?

Also, any plans on subtitle support on your future releases?

Have you tried beta2 release of server? (Link can be found in announcements). It should fix unicode related problems.

We do consider adding subtitles support for future releases.
