When I was playing a video using version 2.4.6, there was a zoom button while playing or I could double tap the video to zoom. Since upgrading to 2.4.7, neither option seems available.

How can I zoom while playing a video in 2.4.7?

You can set the zoom before playback in (on iPhone in conversion settings - Crop). If there is demand for the old functionality we can add it in next update.

It is way too cumbersome to go into the settings everytime. The double tap/zoom button was way more convenient!

If you could put the same new options when tvout (btw, awesome!), available in normal play, it would be great.

The problem with the old system was that it was either fully zoomed out, or fully zoomed in (often degrading the quality significantly). There was nothing in between. In any case, looks like there is enough demand for this so it will be back, though I'd like to find a way to make it more flexible.

You mean aspect ratio and overscan? The device aspect ratio doesn't change and there is no overscan, why do you need the settings?

Agree, double tapping is the ideal solution, having to go on the converting settings, crop, manual zoom, done, etc everytime we put a video is way more complicated for a feature that we use all the time.

No, I mean only the several zoom options, but if it's only the double tap for me it's ok.

I would like the double tap to automatically crop to screen feature back as well.

It's the top priority for next update.

Maybe instead of a straight zoom, could implement an incremental zoom with multiple stages?

I prefered the old controls including zooming as well. They were perfect. By the way: best App for the iPad!

I too prefer the double tap zoom feature. I'm glad to hear that this feature will be re-incorporated.

Thanks for continuously trying to improve the app.

It would be nice to have the native video UI back too.
