I just installed a new firewall, ZoneAlarm Free. I load the Air Video Server and accept all Air Video connections in ZoneAlarm. I start the Air Video App, load a video and everything seems to be OK but after a few minutes the video all of a sudden stops. When I close the video and try to restart, I receive the following error message: "URL Resolver Error".
As suggested in Air Video's Troubleshooting section, I did as follows:
"On your computer visit localhost:45631. You should see the text 'Air Video'. If you don't see it Air Video Server is not running properly. If you see the text, run Safari on your iPhone/iPod touch and navigate to following address: http://<your-computer-ip>:45631 where <your-computer-ip> is local IP address of your computer. If you don't get any response or get an error there is a problem in your network configuration. If you see the text 'Air Video' then it is probably a bug in Air Video, please report it."
I can see the text "Air Video"?
If I shutdown ZoneAlarm, the video will start again. I am not sure if this issue is related to Air Video or ZoneAlarm?
it is possible that zone alarm is blocking Apple Bonjour. Make sure that the mDNSResponder.exe process is not blocked by ZoneAlarm. Also you can try adding your computer to air video by specifying it's IP address directly to see if it helps. In order to do that click + to add server and then chose "Specify Address Manually", enter your computer's IP address (leave the port unchanged).
