Is "run as a service" allready part of this version?

Is it possible now to re-name the shared folders?

It doesn't run as a service

This should work, double click on folder name.

Hi

How can i manually remove an entry in the shared folders list?

I have a problem where a shared folder remains visible and usable on my ios clients even though i deleted it from the list in the server many months ago.

I am running 2.4.6 b3 on windows 7.

The issue is not specifically 2.4.6 related just thought i'd try to get it sorted.

Great product by the way. I use this app more than any other to airplay stuff to my Apple TV. Works better than apple's own video app!

cheers

Try removing the folder then adding it again. It worked for me. I assumed it was because the shared folders are mapped network drives but maybe not.

I installed 2.4.6b3 and on my 4s and iPad 3 I activated H264 passthrough. But non of the h264 movies I have plays in passthrough. It still converts them. Clearly I am doing something wrong here.

Where can I check whats going on?

How do you know they are still being converted? Can you post here live conversion log? It could be the container.

Yes, but it might need to wait until Air Video 3.

Tiny thing perhaps, but THANK YOU for modifying the menubar icon for OSX ... now I don't have to modify it myself because it actually looks good now.

Because my CPU is 100% while watching a movie, it has lots of compression artifacts and it still shows the subtitles from a .srt file.
Reasons enough to believe it isn't doing passthrough.

here are my logs

When playing an MKV with AC3 via pass through, the video is stuttering, which means it has a lower frame rate (about 15fps I think). I tried the server on an Atom machine as well as on a quad core PC, but it didn't change anything.

The video was played on an IPhone 4 and IPad 1 - are those to slow? Is the audio conversion done on the mobile device?

Was waiting for the update for YEARS and got really sad when the video wasn't playing smooth. But besides this - you are doing AWESOME work!!!

By the way, for all those who are using Atom machines and don't want to convert MKV's that already have h264 video - try this:

Just converts the audio
