Has anyone else had this problem? I can connect great to both my local network and 3G, but whenever i select a video and it starts to play, the audio starts a little earlier than the video causing it to become out of sync by about one second. It never used to do this before the updates.

Haven't seen this behavior with any of tested videos. Does it happen with all your videos?

Yes, it doesn't matter what video type it is or how long it is, the audio is always off-sync.

If you convert the video and play it (not with live conversion) is the audio still out of sync?

I have exactly the same problem with syncing the sound when watching
the movie with live conversion. The sound is slightly out of sync by maybe
0.5s. It got better when I converted it. But still out of sync by 0.2s.
I don't think I had this problem before the update.
I have an 3GS, 3.1.2
Thanks for a really great app!

If you play the converted video on your computer, is it still out of sync?

I just played a video that I had converted erlier and the audio was fine, but when I play the video through wi-fi or 3G it is off-sync again. This is a very peculiar problem...
Also, all of the videos that I have tried through wi-fi and 3G dont become out of sync when playing them on my pc. just FYI.

Well, that is weird. Because if you played it later (just by tapping "Play", not "Play with live conversion") and the audio was out of sync it would be a bug in iPhone Media Player component. Something we have no control over :-|

Update:
The movie is out of sync when playing direct on the computer as well!
All my movies are just out of sync. Hmmm....strange.
I have a MacMini that is 6 months old. Is this an Apple-problem by any chance?

Yes, all my movies are off -150ms when played in QT or VLC
Tested a DVD-movie in DVD-player and guess what, It's IN sync!
All of my ripped DVD's and divx, avi etc. All having the same problem.
Is this part of an native QT encoding problem? I think I got this problem from
the last update from apple.

I have one word: WOW!!javascript:emoticon(' ');
javascript:emoticon(' '); Im very impressed with the Air Video Staff!! The new server version 2.2.5 beta 2 has solved all three of my problems in one update!!! 1) Fixed the audio off sync issue (my biggest complaint) woo hoo!!javascript:emoticon(' ');
javascript:emoticon(' '); 2) Fixed some of my .avi's not playing (sweetness!!) and 3) Fixed most of my thumbnails not showing up (not a big deal, but awesome none-the-less!) Again, i would like to thank you guys for solving these problems (at least for me! lol!) so quickly. I know that fixing bugs is just a normal thing to do when it comes to software, but you guys definately take the cake when it comes to speedy updates and responses to questions! Way to go! javascript:emoticon(' ');
