i'm running air video off two windows 7 64 bit computers and recently have had trouble getting air video to start off one of them. i've tried version 2.2.3, 2.2.4 and 2.2.5-beta1 and 2 with uninstalls and reboots before installing but it wont work. the computer lags out like crazy using 30% cpu in the process list and after a minute it vanishes.
itunes v9.0.3.15
not using any 3rd party firewall
nod32 v4 (same result with antivirus disabled)
cpu - amd phenom II quad core (the computer downstairs is dual core)
i've also tried running as administrator and XP compatibility mode with no success.

This is weird, really. I'll make a special build with console enabled. It usually is the converter queue being stuck but that should be resolved after reinstall. Hopefully there will be some relevant output in the console.
for jwalker i took a guess that i had to run it then start airvideoserver.exe and after it crashes click the big button for a log file. said file is attached.
thx
may or may not be relevant but after one of the uninstalls i did a registry search for 'airvideo' to see if anything was left over and made a note of the following:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > ControlSet001 > Control > Session Manager
Name - PendingFileRenameOperations
Value - \??\C:\Program Files (x86)\AirVideoServer\
i deleted it, rebooted and reinstalled but no joy. however this registry entry is no longer there.

It looks like Air Video Server doesn't get any more handles from Windows. This is a very weird error. I'll post a new build soon with updated SWT dependency, it *might* make a difference.
The new build is available here. If it doesn't help there's one more thing you can try.
There should be a hidden folder on C: called jexepack res. If it contains any data delete it. Also, what exact Java version do you have installed?
