Hi, is there any chance you could allow the port in the server settings to be set to 80? I am sometimes behind a proxy that doesn't work with anything but port 80.
Thanks

It's not allowed on purpose. Lot of ISPs block incoming connections on port 80. 8080 does not work for you?

hey.
I tried port 8080, it's open at my uni campus (port scanned). However, it still doesn't work. When I try to use upnp on the server side, it gives this message
Warning: Possible double NAT detected! Make sure that only one router on your network is doing Network Address Translation.
There is only one router on my network. I did some research on this site, and you say it is because my ISP hasn't given me a public IP address. I don't undertand how an ISP cannot give a public IP address, you need one to access the internet. That's why when I go to something like cmyip.com, it shows my public IP address and not my private 192.168... address. Or am I missing a point?

Your provider may have put you behind a NAT, thus the public IP address is shared by multiple customers.

Hi, I got it to run via 3g. It seems port 8080 is blocked for that kind of data at the access point I want to use.

At work i do a few things for which i need open ports at home like 80, 443, and 8080 so i can get through our firewall. Would be very helpful if you could allow listening on ports under 1000 like 22. It would also be helpful to allow forwarding router port like 22 outside to a different airvideo listening port like 45631 inside and still have it work.

I don't see any way to change the port at all... what am I doing wrong ??
I open the server --> click on REMOTE tab --> Enable Access from INTERNET --> and then I un-check the "automatically map port" in order to try a port myself... but it doesn't give me any option to do so.
I am behind a HTTP Proxy but I have the admin user /password , and I installed servers before - I just need to provide the PROXY address and the user name / password and it works... but here I cannot find the place to put it.
any help ??

The port can be changed in the "Settings" tab.

No , that did not work - I tried many different ports and none of them worked as it's behind a firewall.
I need to use the Proxy User name / password in order to open those ports.
Isn't there a way to define the PROXY configuration ? or use the same as the IE using ?
