I have been using Air Video extensively with great satisfaction for months. A few days ago, I’ve found that MPG video files generated from my Sony DSCF828 camera do not appear on my iPhone screen. The only time anything appeared on the screen was the invormation that video cannot be played with live conversion and the option convert have been offered. I have the latest iPhone application installed and the server versions on my computers are as follows:
#1 Windows XP, SP3 - 2.2.3
#2 Windows XP, SP3 - 2.2.4
#3 Snow Leopard, SP3 - 2.2.4
At the moment I can’t recall if the same MPG files worked properly in the past. I suppose they did. Is there any magic cure?
Below is the Thumbnails Generation report:

It doesn't look like the file is a valid MPEG.

It is valid enough to be played on any computer including PS3, even the iPhone plays them without conversion if I transfer them through iTunes? Moreover, it is not only one file all hundreds of them have the same symptoms. Any advice?

iPhone certainly can't play a MPG file. If iPhone plays it without conversion it means it's not a MPG file. Do you have a reasonably sized file (<20MB) that you can provide me? I can take look at it. If you do send me a PM.

Thank you very much! I'm aware of the iPhone limitation but thats what's been happening. I have a short video that I've taken today with the same camera. Same problem. I just have to figure out how to send a file since I'm new to the forum.

File sent to your e-mail. I'm very curious of what's gone wrong. Thanks a lot for the attention. Waiting for your judgment.

I was able to play the video without any issues. Have you tried the latest server beta version?

Great! I've just tried it on a Mac and it worked magically. Again, thank you very much for your support and a fabulous product. I'd just got used to it so much that that I've grown a missing feeling. I'll try it on my Windows machines shortly.
