So basically i get a server running and everything is fine until i try it a little while later it doesnt detect a server until i restart air video server

Hi,

what operating system do you use and have you any third party firewall installed? Btw. does the server actually crash or it just stops communicating?

im currently using windows 7 and the only firewall is the default microsoft one. I get URL resolver error

That looks like bonjour error. It does happen on some networks. You can try enabling remote access on the Remote tab in server properties (but disable "Automatically Map Port") and add the server to Air Video client by entering the pin.

If you only plan to use Air Video on local network you don't need to be bothered if "Test Connection" fails.
