Suddenly, "Your Air Video Server instance is NOT accessible from the internet" ....

I have only Virtual Server/Port Trigger under my router, what should I input in virtual server?

45631 ??? ALL Activate
Besides, need to input Port Trigger info?

How about if I get message "Your Air Video Server instance is accessible from the internet" in testing page, but still cannot connect to AV thru 3G by entering the Server PIN , error message is 'URL Resolver Error: Server is not reachable"? I disabled uPnP and have done the port forwarding already.
Thanks!

Thanks!
Any useful tool/link for checking the upload & download speed in both iPhone & PC?
Besides, if the video file is converted, the video will be more smooth, right?

always buffering when watching video by 3G, it's annoying, does anyone know how to tune and get a higher speed?
The video format is probably wmv & rmvb.

still not work with my notebook using port no. 45632, I already configure port forwarding, here is the log:
Destination Proto. Port Range Redirect to

###.###.###.### UDP 45632 192.168.1.4

where ###.###.###.### is the router's ip address. And the local IP address in notebook is 192.168.1.4. Did I set something wrongly?

yes, you are right... I forgot to set port forwarding for the second port no.

I have one laptop and one desktop at home, and have installed Air Video Server in both computer, And thanks to the Admin, at the desktop, port forwarding is successful setup manually using port 45631, but at the laptop, can I still use port 45631? I failed to connect to the server using this port no., when using other port no. like 45632, still failed. What can I do?

I am using Vista too but no problem on this. I saw that your server is 2.2.5-beta2, but my version is 2.2.4 , it makes the difference?

Thanks! Let me try later.

If I manually set port forwarding, in iPhone, I input IP address with port no. or just input Server PIN directly to access?
|
 |

last night, I tried to set port forwarding when uPnP is enabled, but it didn't work. Then I disabled uPnP and tried again, it worked then!
At this moment, I still manually set port forwarding in Air Vider Server, so I checked 'Automatic Port Mapping" and it worked. Do you mean that this automation is not reliable so I need to manually set port forwarding permanently?

Thanks~
Do I need to disable uPnP as well?

it's strange that, after conversion, the video cannot be played in Air Video!

At the very beginning, I can connect to the server thru WIFI, but then when I tried to remote access thru 3G, it appeared URL Resolver Error. Ok, then I checked this forum and knew that need to see if my router supports uPnP or not, I found it is already enabled. And on Remote tab, i checked "Automatic Port Mapping", but it failed to recognise the device. Then I just manually set the port forwarding(follow the steps in portforward.com site), and unchecked the box "Automatic Port Mapping", and click "Testing", but just pop up 'No accessible from internet' message. I tried to turn off firewall and other anti-virus programs , but still didn't work.... I almost gave up, finally I tried to disable uPnP function and re-enable, suddenly, the "Automatic Port Mapping" testing is OK!
Fine, I input the Server PIN thru 3G and it works this time!
At last, I still don't know what happen on my setting, it may be due to the router (mine is using Asus WL-530G) problem.
One more problem is, I can access the server last night in the bed, but this morning when I go out and try again, it appears "URL Resolver Error: Server is not reachable" again, but I'm sure that my PC at home is not turned off.
