I have posted issue with my streaming in another forum but I'm having the same issue as the post here... The stream stops every few seconds...
I'm streaming it over 3G and I have good signal in my area....
My download/upload speed on my internet is 6Mbps/1Mbps. The only time the stream works fine is when I stream it at a bit rate of 128kb/s but the video is unwatchable....
Both my server and client are in latest version

I tried the 384 bit rate but still buffers every 10 or 15 secs.... I never used to have any buffering problem when I was using my 3GS....

I play my videos over 3G on my iPhone4. I have constant buffering and freeze and skipping back issue. I tried the one stream rate and its taking long to buffer the video... What do you think is the ideal stream rate for 3G?

I don't have 3G on my iPad so I'm not able to test it over 3G. But I don't understand why the videos would turn invalid while I can still see the files... I tried reinstalling the server and the client application with no luck.

Actually I noticed that all the files are invalid even under Wifi using a router. Admin can you please help me on this issue?
I have air video latest version installed both in my server and my iPad....

Yes they work over the regular network... Only via the ad-hoc network they are invalid....

I have a Windows 7 laptop and I setup an Ad-Hoc network to share internet and media... My iPad connects to Ad-Hoc network and shares the internet but AirVideo shows all the files invalid I have tried will the ip address with no lock. Can anyone help me on this please?

Will the mod create by another user work may be using vlc player?

I disabled my manual port fowarding AirVideo port and it started working again.... Thanks for your assistance again....
Just curious, any client/server updates in line in near future??

I understand what you are saying.... For me the port forwarding is working now after manually doing it...
The only reason that I could think of is... I had a laptop and computer running the AirVideo server at the same time and I had manually port forwarded my laptop's ip address sometime back and never took it off... So I guess the port was blocked for one ip and that messed up my desktop's connection...
I'm going to disable the manual port forwarding and try the dynamic fowarding one machine at a time...
Thanks for your help! I'm getting more knowledgeable thru this app

Admin,
I manually port forwarded my ip address and my instance is accessible over 3G. I think the automated port forwarding is the one that's causing the errors.
Am not sure then what is causing the issue Can please you dig down to the source ? I can do my best to give an additional information that you require...
